Minimum 50% F. Sc (Pre- Medical) or Equivalent from HEC Recognized Institute.

Degree

This doctorate program will provides a strong foundation in the biological and social sciences, with advanced coursework in metabolism, nutrition and foods. The academic coursework within the major includes University and College requirements (including General Nutrition, Therapeutic Nutrition, Dietetics dealing with Diseases, Nutrition in Sports, physiology, and Research based skill) and the last year of this doctorate program will be equivalent to professional practical skill PGDD (Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics) as this diploma is awarded after completion of 17 years of education.
Graduates of this major, with completion of the DDNS program, will be eligible to apply to supervise practice programs (accredited Dietetic Internships) in which students receive practical training in varied aspects of dietetic practice. The curriculum of this doctorate program is set to meet the international standards so that upon satisfactory completion of this degree, students will be eligible to apply for international administered Registration Examination, for registered Dietitian R.D that are the nationally recognized credential in nutrition.
